What is the best siding for a house?
Choose vinyl siding from Hartwell Exteriors,
perhaps the Massachusetts area’s most experienced vinyl
siding contractor, featuring a wide variety in vinyl
siding colors and the best value in vinyl siding cost.
Protecting your home with vinyl siding not only provides an
outstanding barrier against the weather, but proves both durable and
attractive. You can update the look of your home,
increase its value, and save money,
especially if you have had to repaint your house every few years. |
Vinyl siding is
known for its ability to stand up to the weather. It’s a great
choice for freezing winter and intense sun. But to get the best, you
need to choose an experienced vinyl siding contractor. At Hartwell
Exteriors, our siding is wind resistant up to 240 mph.
Beauty
One of the most important goals of siding is to
enhance the appearance of your home. At Hartwell Exteriors, our lines of vinyl siding give your residence a look of
beauty, the appeal of an attractive home. We offer a range of
vinyl siding colors, textures, and profiles second to none, allowing
you to choose the perfect look for your home, and to provide the
best value in vinyl siding cost.
Virtually Seamless Vinyl Siding
Woodland 25 Series virtually seamless siding uses
fewer 25 length strips per square than standard 12' strips of
siding, creating fewer seams and laps. Learn more about our

Durability
Perhaps the biggest advantage of vinyl siding is
its low maintenance. No scraping, painting, patching, or repairing.
An occasional spray with a garden hose and a mild detergent will
keep it looking like new.
Quality
The two most expensive components in extruded
vinyl siding are impact modifiers and color stabilizers (TIO2).
In the short term, almost all vinyl panels are
pliable enough to absorb an impact without cracking. In the long
term, after three or more years, the sun’s powerful ultraviolet rays
work to change this characteristic. The higher the concentration of
impact modifiers in the original compounds, the slower the rate of
change toward brittle.
A lack of color stabilizers causes vinyl siding to
“chalk.” Beware of purchasing inexpensive vinyl siding with fewer
impact modifiers and color stabilizers. What is the best siding for
a house? We offer a range of vinyl siding colors, textures, and
profiles second to none, allowing you to choose the perfect look for
your home.
Quality materials are an important component of a
successful residing project, but nothing is more important than the
expertise of the people who install it. A good tradesman can make a
poor product look good (for a short time), but a poor tradesman can
take a good product and not only make it look bad but fail to live
up to its engineered potential. Our skilled staff has the experience
necessary to install our quality products properly. At Hartwell
Exteriors, our goal is always to provide the best
value for your dollar.
Value
Vinyl siding is a great investment. Re-siding a
home is among the top ten remodeling projects in terms of overall
payback. And, if you re-side with vinyl, you can often recoup a
large percentage of your investment.
